The other day I decided to take a peek at the world of Instagram. I’d heard of its fame and glory, of course, but I was curious to see what all the fuss was about. I began scrolling through the feed, wondering what I would find.
From the get-go, I was bombarded with images, videos, and stories that ranged from the mundane to the bizarre. Overall, my brief foray into the world of Instagram left me with a mix of emotions. On the one hand, I was amazed at the creativity and ingenuity of the platform. On the other, I was disturbed by the explicit content and sheer amount of pornography. Either way, there is no denying the power of Instagram and its influence on our culture.
